What is the treatment?
Permanent eyelash lift is a chemical treatment that bends lashes from the base to a beautiful curve. The result is a natural, yet spectacular result. This treatment creates a sleek and fresh look that expands the eye. The eyelash curler is suitable for all types of lashes, even the most delicate ones. The treatment can also be used on sensitive eyes, but we recommend that you always discuss the suitability of the treatment with a professional first if you have allergies, atopic dermatitis or are sensitive to new ingredients, for example.
How is permanent eyelash lift done?
In an eyelash lift, the lash is treated by bending the lash from the base upwards. A silicone pad of the appropriate shape and size is placed on the upper eyelid, where the lashes are bent and fixed with a water-soluble adhesive. Unlike eyelash perming, only the base of the eyelash is treated. The bending is done using emollients and adhesives on the lashes. At the end of the treatment, conditioners are applied to the lashes to condition and strengthen the treated lashes. Permanent eyelash tinting is also usually used to give a more spectacular result.
How long will the results last?
The results of a permanent eyelash lift last for about 6-8 weeks, depending on the natural life cycle of your own eyelashes and the quality of the hair. The effect of the permanent extension will fade naturally as your lashes renew and grow. Permanent eyelash extensions can be renewed at the earliest after 6-8 weeks or when the effect wears off.
What to consider after treatment?
After a permanent eyelash lift, the lashes can “live” for a while and take their place once they have been removed from the pad. Avoid hot, humid and wet conditions for 24 hours e.g. sauna, shower, facial steam. Mascara is not recommended to be applied until the next day. We recommend to moisturize lashes with oil-free mascara. This will keep the lashes groomed and moisturised throughout the growth period and the curling result will look as beautiful as possible.
