What is the treatment?

Rejuran – the power of salmon DNA for skin rejuvenation. Rejuran is a CE-marked biostimulation treatment produced by the South Korean pharmaceutical company PharmaResearch Products Co. Ltd, based on polynucleotides (PN) extracted from salmon DNA. A polynucleotide is a long chain of nucleotides, which are the basic building blocks of DNA and RNA. Polynucleotides have gained popularity in the aesthetic field, especially due to their skin-renewing and rejuvenating effects. Rejuran polynucleotide treatment stimulates collagen production, improves skin elasticity and moisture balance, and promotes skin healing and regeneration. It not only moisturizes and brightens the skin but also improves its structure from within.

What kind of results are achieved with the treatment?

Rejuran treatment activates the skin’s natural renewal process, strengthens its structure, and supports tissue recovery at the cellular level. Rejuran treatment optimizes the function of the skin’s extracellular matrix and microenvironment – precisely where renewal and damage repair occur. When the skin’s biological processes are functioning optimally, the skin strengthens, regenerates, and restores its vitality naturally, without a filling effect.

Rejuran Healer

A versatile treatment for improving skin quality. Used especially on the face, neck, and décolletage when the goal is to improve skin texture, moisture, elasticity, and overall vitality, as well as to treat and prevent signs of aging and photoaging.

Rejuran I

A lighter composition designed for the delicate skin around the eyes. Helps to strengthen thin skin, reduce fine lines, brighten the eye area, and improve microcirculation in the area.

Rejuran S

A concentrated preparation for scar treatment. Especially suitable for repairing acne scars, surgical scars, or other skin irregularities when the goal is to stimulate connective tissue regeneration and smooth the skin’s surface.

Results appear gradually: the skin gradually looks more radiant, even, and vital – healthy and naturally strengthened.

What results can be achieved with Profhilo?

Profhilo stands out from regular dermal fillers due to its structure, which allows it to spread over a large area. It rejuvenates the skin, adds moisture, and improves firmness. The effects are visible immediately as increased hydration, improved skin tone, and quality. Skin elasticity improves, and fine lines are reduced. For younger skin, it brings softness, radiance, and smoothness.

Are there any restrictions related to the treatment?

Injection treatments are not performed on individuals under 18, pregnant, or breastfeeding. Contraindications include active herpes, inflammation or active skin disease in the treatment area, excessive scarring, porphyria, skin damage or open wounds in the treatment area, active skin cancer, warts, bacterial or fungal infections, frostbite or sunburned skin.

Recovery Time

There is no actual recovery time for the treatment, but with Rejuran treatment, it is advisable to expect mild swelling, slight redness, and possible bruising. In addition, small “papules” remain on the skin after the treatment, which can last for a few days before the substance has properly settled into the tissue.

Because a needle or cannula is used to administer the substance during the treatment, there may be slight bleeding from the injection site. More common side effects include tenderness, bruising, redness, or swelling at the injection site.

Maintenance of Results

The treatment can be taken as a single treatment, but for optimal results, we recommend Rejuran as a series of three treatments. Maintenance treatments are done every 2-4 weeks. Maintenance treatment can be done with 1 treatment session every 3-6 months, depending on the skin’s needs. For home care to maintain results, Klinik Linnea recommends a ZO Skin Health or AlumierMD skincare protocol designed for your skin and, regardless of the season, a minimum of SPF30 sunscreen.
