What is the treatment?
A filler is a hyaluronic acid-based, biodegradable, gel-like product. Hyaluronic acid is a natural substance in the body that binds water and hydrates the skin. Fillers are designed to address the specific needs of different areas of the face, and they can enhance tissues by lifting or adding volume. Dermal filler treatments offer a safe and quick way to achieve immediate and natural results with minimal recovery time.
At Klinik Linnea, we use only high-quality, FDA-approved dermal fillers. We utilize the leading aesthetic filler brands, Juvéderm and Restylane. Both brands have decades of product development, extensive research, and international popularity, ensuring the quality and safety of the fillers for our clients.

Are there any restrictions for the treatment?
Dermal filler treatments are not performed during pregnancy or breastfeeding. At Klinik Linnea, the minimum age for injection treatments is 18. Contraindications for the treatment include active herpes, an inflammatory condition, or active skin diseases in the treatment area, excessive scar tissue, porphyria, permanent fillers or implants in the treatment area, skin damage or open wounds in the area, active skin cancer, warts, bacterial or fungal infections, frostbite or burned skin, and active oral infections.
Pre-existing medical conditions and medications should be in a stable state. Any medication affecting blood clotting should be disclosed to the treating nurse or doctor. Klinik Linnea does not recommend a dental visit within two weeks before or after a dermal filler treatment if the treatment is performed on the lips or perioral area (increased infection risk, settling of the filler, and recovery). If you have questions regarding the suitability of the treatment for you, please contact the staff at Klinik Linnea.
