What is the treatment?
Mesotherapy is a procedure where active ingredients are evenly delivered under the skin. At Klinik Linnea, mesotherapy can be performed using the Mesogun device or manually with small injections into the treatment area. What makes mesotherapy unique is that the active ingredients are injected under the skin rather than applied topically as with traditional skincare. Additionally, the micro-injections themselves stimulate collagen production and strengthen the skin’s elastin. The active solution used is tailored to your skin type and may include hyaluronic acid, minerals, vitamins, and amino acids. At Klinik Linnea, we exclusively use sterile solutions. Mesotherapy treatments can be applied to both facial and body areas.

What results can be expected?
Mesotherapy addresses a variety of concerns, including skin rejuvenation and hydration, signs of aging, pigmentation issues, uneven skin tone, hair loss and scalp health, scar treatment, and reducing localized fat deposits. After the treatment, your skin will appear brighter, firmer, hydrated, and more vibrant. The results depend on the number of sessions and the composition of the active ingredients. Mesotherapy is also effective in preventing and treating hair loss.
Are there any restrictions for this treatment?
The treatment is not recommended during pregnancy or breastfeeding. It cannot be performed if the treatment area has active herpes simplex, acne, rosacea, open wounds or skin damage, skin cancer (undergoing treatment), warts, bacterial or fungal infections, actinic keratosis, hemophilia, or scleroderma, or if you are taking medications that sensitize the skin, such as isotretinoin. Recovery time
There is no significant downtime associated with this treatment. However, slight redness, mild swelling, and bruising may occur. When performed with the Mesogun device, recovery is typically quicker. Most clients can return to their normal routines immediately after treatment.
Maintaining results
Optimal and long-lasting results from mesotherapy are achieved through a series of treatments (3-6 sessions). The number of sessions will be planned based on your skin’s needs during your consultation. Remember to maintain your skin at home with proper skincare products. Home care enhances and helps sustain the results of your treatment. Klinik Linnea recommends high-quality products from ZO Skin Health or AlumierMD for home use.
