What is HarmonyCA?
HarmonyCA is a unique hybrid product that combines the lifting and contouring effects of a dermal filler with the collagen-stimulating and skin-activating properties of a biostimulator. The treatment provides both immediate and long-term benefits for addressing signs of aging and improving the overall appearance.
The active ingredients in HarmonyCA are cross-linked hyaluronic acid (HA) and calcium hydroxyapatite (CaHA). Hyaluronic acid (the filler) brings moisture and volume to the skin, helping to lift sagging tissue. Calcium hydroxyapatite, made up of calcium micro-particles, stimulates the skin’s natural collagen production. As the particles are absorbed by the skin’s metabolism, the skin’s natural collagen remains, resulting in firmer skin.
What results can be achieved with HarmonyCA?
HarmonyCA works in two phases: hyaluronic acid provides immediate results in terms of clearer features and enhanced facial tone, while the skin-firming effects of calcium hydroxyapatite gradually appear over the next few months, offering long-lasting results of up to 2 years. So, you will see the results right away, but they will improve even further over time.

Are there any restrictions for this treatment?
Dermal filler treatments are not performed on pregnant or breastfeeding individuals. At Klinik Linnea, the minimum age for injection treatments is 18. Contraindications for the treatment include active herpes, inflammation, or skin disease in the treatment area, excessive scar tissue, porphyria, permanent fillers or implants in the treatment area, open wounds, active skin cancer, warts, bacterial or fungal infections, frostbite or burned skin, or active infections in the mouth.
Any underlying health conditions and medications must be stable. If you are taking medication that affects blood clotting, you should inform your nurse or doctor. Klinik Linnea does not recommend visiting the dentist for 2 weeks before or after a dermal filler treatment. Maintaining results
HarmonyCA works with just one treatment session. Studies have shown that the effects can last up to 24 months. Maintenance sessions will enhance the results.
Klinik Linnea recommends using a ZO Skin Health or AlumierMD skincare programme tailored to your needs for maintaining results, along with SPF30 sunscreen, regardless of the season.

How should I prepare for the treatment?
We recommend eating before your treatment and arriving without makeup. Due to the increased risk of bruising and bleeding, we do not recommend anti-inflammatory medications (e.g., Ibuprofen) for three days before the treatment, and natural supplements (e.g., Omega-3, Vitamin E) for one week before. If you need pain relief, we suggest using paracetamol. We will send you an electronic health questionnaire prior to your appointment; please fill this out before arriving for your treatment.
What is included in the treatment?
The treatment includes a consultation for Radiesse injection, skin cleansing, the procedure itself, aftercare cream, aftercare instructions, and a relaxing and rejuvenating moment at Klinik Linnea.
How long does the treatment take?
The treatment takes approximately 60 minutes.
Is there pain during the treatment?
You may feel slight discomfort or no pain at all. HarmonyCA gel contains lidocaine, an anesthetic. If necessary, we can apply numbing cream to the treatment area. Keeping the treatment area cool during the procedure also helps to alleviate any discomfort.
What are the most typical reactions after the treatment?
Recovery is quick, so no extended downtime is needed. However, with injection treatments, it’s good to be prepared for possible mild tenderness, swelling, light redness, and bruising for a few days.
What are the aftercare instructions?
Detailed aftercare instructions will be provided during your treatment. On the day of the treatment, avoid touching the treated area and ensure you maintain heightened hygiene for the treated area. For the next two days, avoid strenuous physical activity, sauna, excessive sweating, and direct UV exposure. We also recommend avoiding other facial treatments, facial massage, and mouth and facial area procedures for 2 weeks after your treatment. Do not apply makeup to the treated area during the first 24 hours due to infection risk. Klinik Linnea recommends using SPF50 sunscreen year-round.
