To minimize bruising and bleeding, we recommend avoiding anti-inflammatory medications (e.g., ibuprofen) for three days before the treatment and herbal supplements (e.g., Omega-3, vitamin E) for one week prior. If you need pain relief, we suggest using paracetamol. We will send you an electronic pre-treatment questionnaire in advance, so please complete this before your appointment.

The treatment includes an initial skin consultation, skin cleansing, the treatment procedure, aftercare creams, post-treatment instructions, and a relaxing and restorative Klinik Linnea experience.

The treatment typically lasts about 60 minutes.

Moderate discomfort may occur. We numb the treatment area beforehand with an anesthetic cream. Keeping the area cool during the procedure also helps alleviate sensations.

Some clients may experience normal side effects such as swelling, redness, tenderness, or bruising at the injection site. These usually resolve within a couple of days, so we recommend planning accordingly when scheduling your appointment. Small papules may also be visible at the injection sites until the solution has absorbed into the skin. These bumps may be noticeable or palpable for a few days at most.

We will go through the aftercare instructions during your appointment. On the day of the treatment, avoid touching the area and pay extra attention to its hygiene. Use a clean face towel and pillowcase. Makeup can be applied to the skin the following day. We recommend avoiding strenuous exercise for 24 hours and saunas for 1–3 days after the treatment. Protecting your skin from the sun is crucial. Klinik Linnea recommends using SPF50 sun protection year-round.
